The MSc Human Resource Management course at the University of Stirling offered me a unique mixture of student experiences – academic as well as socially. The academic part delivered up-to-date teaching and learning techniques that combine theory and practice in an outstanding way. No matter if case studies, single or group presentations, seminars, presentations by practitioners or just ‘normal’ lectures – you are right in the middle of it! You will be challenged and you will develop, because the knowledge and creativity of each individual attending the course is stimulated and this delivers a wonderful learning atmosphere. This atmosphere translates into the social part, where the discussions in group meetings for presentations ended up in social meetings. My classmates were eager to learn more about new cultures as well as teach about their own and the lovely campus together with the number of various activities made it easy to develop from classmates to friends – then and now – all over the world.
