Why did you decide to study an undergraduate course?

I was interested in Philosophy and an undergraduate course was the next step in pursuing that after finishing my highers.

What attracted you to Stirling?

As well as a beautiful campus, Stirling has a strong reputation for humanities, and Philosophy in particular.

What did you enjoy most about your time at the University of Stirling?

There's always a lot going on on-campus, whatever you're interested in and you quickly get to know all sorts of people.

Which aspects of the programme did you enjoy the most?

A wide variety of modules are available, but if a particular area interests you, there will be modules that allow you to focus specifically on that.

How did your time at University make you more employable? For example, did you undertake placements, work experience, engage with employers through your programme, act as class rep, get involved with the Student’s Union? What key skills did you develop?

Being involved in the university's societies helped me become more confident which is attractive to employers.

What advice would you give a student considering studying at Stirling?

Make sure you live on campus for first year to make the most of the campus, societies and other students.

How would you summarise your time at Stirling?

Hard work but fun.

What are you doing now?

I'm about to start an MSc Environmental Sustainability at Edinburgh University.
