I live in Glasgow so for me personally it is quite a trek back and forth, but completely worth it. I was attracted to the University of Stirling because of its great status for nursing and the prospects for jobs upon finishing my studies next year.
I am enjoying the chance to study again and learn new things, being an adult learner it is a new experience but a positive one. I enjoy the smaller seminar work groups and practical workshops for the more hands on stuff and an easier environment to aid discussion.
Yes very much so, especially my personal tutor, we have a good relationship and she has really helped me through the three years whenever I've needed it.
Nothing is impossible, don't feel worried about asking for help, we all need it and people are very forthcoming in providing support.
Just to remember the importance of making good links when you are out in placement as well. It's great to have good relationships with university mentors but also equally important to have great relationships with placement mentors.
