The Enrolment and Records team have compiled some FAQs on uploading ID card photos which you can see below.

How do I submit my photograph?

To submit your photograph you need to upload your image via the ‘Upload your photograph’ link on your Portal. You will need to have been issued with a username and created a password via 'account discovery' for you to access your portal.

I have recently completed a course here, do I upload another photograph?

If you wish to use a previous photograph please notify us by emailing

How will I know you have received my photograph?

An email will be sent to your University email account to confirm that your photograph has been received via the upload process . A further email will be sent once your image has been approved for use on your ID card.

When uploading I am told the image is too big/small, what do I do?

Using a image editor such as Microsoft Picture Manager to resize your photo to 340x264 pixels
