Academic regulations
The Academic Regulations form a core strand of the University’s regulatory framework for learning, teaching and assessment, and other aspects of the learning experience. As such, the Regulations are an important reference point for both students and staff. The regulatory framework also includes ordinances, policies and codes of practice, and as a whole seeks to ensure that all students are admitted, assessed and awarded in an equitable and consistent manner which maintains the academic standards of the University’s awards.
Staff and students must abide by the Academic Regulations, and it is their responsibility to ensure familiarity with the Regulations that apply to the programmes on which they are studying or for which they hold teaching responsibilities.
