The US-UK Fulbright Commission aims to foster intercultural understanding between the USA and the UK and offers a number of opportunities for Americans to study within the UK.

The University of Stirling is proud to partner with the Fulbright Commission to offer funding for the first year of postgraduate studies (Masters or first year of doctoral programme) in health, wellbeing or sports science. Any of our degrees currently offered in health, wellbeing and sports science is eligible for this scholarship.

The grant covers full tuition waiver plus living and travel stipends.

Eligibility and availability

  • You must be a USA citizen.
  • You must be classed as an International student for tuition fee purposes.
  • You must apply directly to the Fulbright Commission and make a separate application directly to the University of Stirling.
  • You must exceed the minimum conditions of the degree offer we make you.
  • This award is only available to students entering directly into a full-time postgraduate degree course, delivered at the University’s Stirling campus.
  • This scholarship cannot be combined with any other University of Stirling scholarship.
