EU students are classified as International students by the UK Government for tuition fee purposes.
This scholarship is for students starting at the University in September 2027 or January 2028. For entry in September 2026 or January 2027, find out more about the EU Postgraduate Scholarship.
Eligibility and availability
Eligibility is for students from EU member states (including candidate countries) and EFTA States.
- You must be ordinarily resident in the EU (including candidate countries) or an EFTA State prior to commencing your studies.
- You must have received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission for an eligible postgraduate taught course at the University of Stirling starting in September 2027 or January 2028.
- You must be classed as an International student for tuition fee purposes.
- You must enter directly into a full-time postgraduate degree programme, delivered at the University’s Stirling campus, students progressing from a Pre-Masters programme at University of Stirling International Study Centre are not eligible.
- This scholarship cannot be combined with any other Stirling scholarship or award (the exception being the University of Stirling’s Sports Scholarships). If offered more than one University of Stirling award, then the highest value award will be applied.
How to apply
No application is necessary. All eligible students who enter a postgraduate degree course at the University of Stirling will automatically be allocated a discount.
