Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

​Balancing everyday life alongside work and home can create pressures for all of us. Innovate's qualified and experienced therapists can help you achieve a positive balance. Their coaches and case managers are highly skilled and can help you find the right resources to support your needs. ​​

The University's Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is provided by Innovate Healthcare and delivered by their EAP partner CiC. The service offers free, confidential advice.

Resources include counsellor support and information services for issues such as:

  • work stress
  • depression
  • marriage and relationship issues
  • legal concerns
  • coping with change
  • parenting issues
  • financial problems, and many more.

Available support

You can access a range of professional support services offering emotional, psychological and practical help, for a wide range of personal and work-related issues. Employees can also access up to six 'face-to-face' counselling sessions, which will conducted via telephone or video call for the time being.

Support for family members

Employees' family members, age 16 and over living in the same household are eligible to access the confidential advice line and online resources (counselling sessions are not accessible).
