A University staff ID card (smartcard) is issued to all employees. Your staff ID identifies you as a member of staff, allows use of library facilities and simplifies the use of the printing devices. Once you have done this and your details have been checked you will receive and email from HR. You can then pick up your staff ID from HR and OD reception (Room 4B1, Cottrell Building). Please note HR and OD Reception is open, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00am to 12:00 midday.

Car Parking

Pay and display machines are in operation within all campus car parks and affect all who drive to and from, and park on, campus. Staff have two parking permit options available;

  • Pay-as-you-go permit

An application for a parking permit can be made on your first day using the University portal. You may have to purchase a ticket from the pay and display machines for your first day or two until you receive your permit.
