Mental Health Awareness Week takes place from Monday 15 to Sunday 21 May and the theme this year, which is chosen nationally by the Mental Health Foundation, is anxiety.

Funded Mental Health Learning

The Skills Network offers colleagues at the University places on distance learning qualifications fully funded by the government’s Adult Education budget. These are available at no cost to individuals or the University and take between 8 to 16 weeks to complete. Individuals can study fully online, or use paper-based workbooks, depending on their qualifications. Support is provided by a subject specialist tutor and a learning support advisor who will assist with learning and assessment questions.
