Echoes in Stone: Creative Archaeological Visualisation on Scotland’s National Forest Estate

Jointly with the University Art Collection, the Centre hosted Echoes in Stone. This consisted of a free public lecture delivered on 26 January 2016 and a corresponding exhibition which runs until March 2016 in the Pathfoot Building. Matthew Ritchie, Forest Enterprise Scotland’s archaeologist discussed how combining new archaeological survey techniques with an aesthetic illustrative methodology can produce detailed site records alongside innovative and spectacular illustrations that encourage greater engagement and understating.

The exhibition will be feature on the web site from end March 2016.
