The University of Stirling gym areas provide the perfect environment and support for you to create and follow a fitness programme that’s right for you.

As part of our £20m sports facilities redevelopment project, we've got a brand new gym, including purpose-built fitness suite and strength and conditioning area.

Fitness Suite and Spin Studio

  • Cardio equipment including: treadmills, cross trainers, upright and recline bikes, hand ergometers, stair-masters, spin bikes, SkillRow, SkillBike, SkillMill curved treadmill, SkillRun, assault bike and Wattbikes. 
  • Two functional rigs with a variety of attachments and accessories (accessory availability subject to COVID)
  • Pin adjusted resistance machines
  • Cable machines and variety of attachments (attachment availability subject to COVID)
  • Dumbbells from 1kg - 20kg
  • Pre-loaded studio barbells 5kg - 20kg
  • Adjustable benches
  • Various accessories such as mats, slam balls, swiss balls, kettlebells (subject to use around COVID procedures)

Strength and conditioning

  • Squat racks
  • Eleiko barbells (15 and 20kg), plates and technique discs
  • Dumbbells from 2kg - 60kg
  • Adjustable benches
  • Flat and decline bench press
  • Preacher curl bench
  • Glute hamstring bench
  • Cable machines and variety of attachments (accessory availability subject to COVID)
  • Plate loaded resistance machines including leg press, incline chest press, low row and lat pull down

  • Functional rig with a variety of attachments and accessories (some accessories subject to COVID)

Monday to Friday Saturday and Sunday
6.30am to 9.50pm 6.30am to 7.45pm
