Football scholarships for women

Our football scholarships provide you with an excellent package of training, competition and funding as you take your academic studies.

At Stirling we bring together high performance coaches, fantastic facilities, advanced sport science, strength and conditioning, physiotherapy support and performance mentoring. We also have five high quality grass football pitches, one of which has floodlights.

We host training for Scottish Premier League side St Johnstone. Our facilities include a 3G pitch and state-of-the-art strength and conditioning suites with 10 Olympic lifting platforms.

Scholarship footballers represent the University in the Scottish Women's Premier League and the Scottish Cup, against the likes of Glasgow City, Hibernian, Celtic and Rangers. We also play in the British Universities Premier League North, British Universities Championships and Scottish universities competitions.  Stirling students have represented Scotland at A Squad level and Great Britain at the World University Games.
