Football scholarships for men
Our football scholarships offer a fantastic package of support including training, competition and funding support to fit alongside academic studies.
At Stirling, we bring together high-performance coaches, excellent facilities, innovative sports science, strength and conditioning, physiotherapy and performance mentoring. We also have five high-quality grass football pitches, one of which has floodlights.
We host training for Scottish Premier League side St Johnstone. Our facilities include a 3G pitch and state-of-the-art strength and conditioning suites with 10 Olympic lifting platforms.
Our football scholars represent the University in the semi-professional Scottish Lowland Football League and the Scottish Cup. Home fixtures for these competitions are played at the Falkirk Stadium. Additionally, student sport scholars compete in the British Universities Premier League North, the British Universities Championships, the Queen’s Park Shield, and the Scottish universities and colleges cup.
