Welcome to University of Stirling Sport

Welcome back for another new semester at University of Stirling Sport. Whether you're arriving for the first time or returning after the holidays, this page has all the information you need to get involved!

What’s on – welcome activities timetable

We’ve got a number of taster sessions and stalls taking place over Welcome Week. More details will be available soon. All Intro and Just Play taster sessions are free for students and can be booked via our app or online portal.

You will require a physical student card (not app/phone-based) to access the sports facilities. Optional key fobs and phone stickers are available to purchase at reception to make accessing the facilities even easier.

Download the University of Stirling Sport app

Download our app for all your sport, health and wellbeing needs with timetables, information, bookings and digital content available at a touch of a button.

Students automatically have an account with us so, once you download the app, you’ll just need to reset your password using your University email address.

Facility tours

Our team are delivering facility tours across the opening week of the new semester for all students.

The facility tours will give you a chance to see all of our fantastic sports facilities and an opportunity to ask questions about all things sport, health and wellbeing at the University.

Tours can be booked via the app, online portal or at reception.

University of Stirling Sport memberships

Student memberships include unlimited gym, swim, fitness classes and Just Play Sport sessions and cost only £16.50 per month on direct debit or £180.00 for 12 months (up-front payment) and can be purchased via the membership webpage or your Student portal. An off-peak option is also available.

Our facilities

Following a £20m makeover and introduction of a brand new leisure management system, our sports facilities are some of the best you’ll find. Our fitness suite has been kitted out with the latest Technogym equipment and over 100+ stations whilst our dedicated strength and conditioning area is packed with top-of-the-line Eleiko bars and plates, BLK BOX racks and Technogym plate-loaded machines.

Our new purpose-built studio hosts our diverse fitness class timetable and we’ve added another sports hall to accommodate our Sports Union clubs and Student Sport programme.

These, on top of our existing world-class tennis and swimming facilities and range of programmes, contribute to a sport, health and wellbeing experience designed for students of all abilities.
