Welcome to University of Stirling Sport

Welcome back to our returning students and welcome to the class of 2020/21!

You have arrived at the UK Sports University of the Year 2020 and Scotland’s University for Sporting Excellence where you will be part of another memorable year for all things sport at the University of Stirling.

We had planned to have our new £20m sports facility investment open for your arrival to campus but understandably this has been delayed for a few months. But it’s something to look forward to and you can have a sneak peek at what will be available to you soon.

Get involved and find your sport and wellbeing

Meanwhile, there will still be ample opportunities for you to get involved in sport and physical activity, at the level of your choosing. We will open as many indoor facilities as possible so there will be a wide range of fitness classes for you to try out. You can also enjoy the many outdoor opportunities on our stunning campus and why not sign up for one of our 50+ student sports clubs.

We place a huge emphasis on the physical, mental and social wellbeing of our campus and never before has it been more important for us all to look after ourselves. Our brilliant team in sport will help you become familiar with the facilities, engage in the programmes and help deliver a world-class student experience in 2020/21…and beyond!

So there's no need to miss out on your favourite class or stand in line to book a facility. Our high end digital platform also includes a suite of live online classes, on-demand workouts, goal-specific programmes and a range of community challenges.

Information on memberships and access will be provided soon. Keep an eye on our web page or connect with us on our Sport InstagramSport Twitter and Sport Facebook pages.

We have some challenges to overcome but I am excited about our plans and we're ready to help you find settle in and make the most of what we offer.

We very much look forward to seeing you at the start of semester and in the meantime stay well and safe.
