Social Sport Leagues

Our Social Sport Leagues provide our students and staff with a great opportunity to play semi-competitive sport on a weekly basis with friends against teams across the university. Create your own team or enter as an individual to get involved in one of our leagues running throughout the semester.

  • All abilities are welcome
  • Referees will be provided

11-a-side Football Tournament

Date: Sunday 9 October 2022

Time: 12:00 - 16:30

Location: 3G Football Pitches or Grass Pitch

Price: £5 per individual per tournament

Registration Deadline: 5pm Wednesday 5 October 2022

Badminton (Singles and Mixed Doubles)

Dates: Wednesdays (15 February - 12 April 2023)

Time: 17:00 - 19:30

Location: Sports Hall 2

Price: £36 per team or £8 per individual for the semester

Registration deadline: 12pm on 13 February 2023

6-a-side Football Leagues

Dates: Mondays or Thursdays (w/c 25 September). 

Time: 18:00 – 20:30 

Location: Artificial 2G Pitch

Price: £87.70 per team (6-8 players) or £14.60 per individual for the semester

Mixed Fast 5 Netball League

Dates: Tuesdays evenings (w/c 25 September).

Time: 18:00 - 20:30

Location: Sports Hall 2

Price: £52.50 per team (6-8 players) or £14.60 per individual for the semester

How to book

Please download our University of Stirling Sport app and click on the 'Student Sport' tile and then ‘Social Sport Leagues’. From here you can enter as a team or an individual into your preferred league. If you are entering as a team, only the Captain needs to enter on your team's behalf. The price covers a full semester of fixtures.  

Alternatively, please visit our booking webpage and create an account using your student email address. Once you’ve created an account, please select ‘Make a Booking’ to view the Social Sport League options.

Once you've made a league booking, you will receive an email from our Student Sport Development Officer to gather more information about your team and provide you with further details about the league.
