The Hardship Fund

Since 2015, The Hardship Fund has helped close to 200 University of Stirling students continue their studies in the face of emotional challenges. Your gift to the Fund will go directly to a student struggling with the pressures of studying at university and often living away from home for the first time. Experience tells us that these kind of hardship grants can be the difference between a student continuing or abandoning their journey towards a university qualification – so your contribution really does count.

Current students: How to apply for support

Distribution of the The Hardship Fund is overseen by Student Support Services. If you’re a current student who would like to apply for financial assistance through the fund, please read our guidelines and complete an application form.
