Serving the diverse needs of students, our Accessibility and Inclusion service offers support for anyone with physical and mobility difficulties, sensory impairments, mental health conditions and learning difficulties such as dyslexia.
We’re here to help with everything from exam arrangements to needs assessment for assistive technology. We can also let you know about additional financial benefits you may be entitled to and connect you with a Student Adviser where appropriate.
To make an appointment with an Accessibility and Inclusion adviser and discuss your needs, you can visit us at the Student Services Hub, send us an email at ask@stir.ac.uk or call +44 (0) 1786 466022.
British Sign Language (BSL) users can contact us via contactSCOTLAND-BSL, the online British Sign Language video relay interpreting service. Find out more on the contactSCOTLAND website.
I absolutely would not have managed to complete this degree without the help I received from the Accessibility and Inclusion Service. Their flexibility and can-do approach allowed me opportunities I had never dreamed would be possible for me.
