Andrew Gray - Private Equity Manager and Investor

Andrew is currently a Senior Partner and Head of Investment at Graphite Capital, a leading mid market UK Private Equity business. He is also an investor in businesses such as Wagamama, Kurt Geiger, Maplin and The Groucho Club.

Prior to joining the business in 1992, Andy worked for Morgan Grenfell for five years, initially in the Financial Analysis Department and then for Morgan Grenfell Development Capital. Whilst at the latter he was closely involved in a number of management buy-outs.

Andrew achieved a first-class degree in from Stirling and went on to further study, graduating with an MBA from Warwick Business School.

I chose Stirling on first impressions after falling for the Loch and the campus. I did not regret it as I had a memorable time on my course, with my lecturers (who were approachable as well as knowledgeable) and socially, where the nature of the campus and halls of residence allowed me to meet so many great people studying different subjects.
