Exercise classes, sport lessons and fitness groups

We offer a superb variety of exercise classes, sports lessons, fitness groups and leisure activities for all levels of fitness and experience.

We take pride in helping you gain confidence and wellbeing, but most of all helping you to enjoy exercise and sport.

All activities are available to non-members but membership will give you free or discounted access to many activities.

Classes and timetables

From Aquajog to Zumba! We run more than 50 classes a week to give you different exercise and fitness options.

We offer fun sport and leisure activities for children as well as our exciting Modern Pentathlon holiday programme.

Young at Heart

Our Young at Heart scheme offers a wide range of sport and social activities for older people.

Golf lessons

Whether you’re a new player or a top player, our classes cater for golfers of all abilities.

Tennis lessons

Our experienced tennis coaches can teach you the game and take you to the next level.

Adult swimming lessons

Choose from our range of supportive swimming classes for beginners, improvers and the over fifty age group.

Each week

  • 700 students, staff and members of the community attend our exercise classes.
  • 150 adults attend our sports classes in tennis, swimming and golf.
  • 100 older adults participate in our Young at Heart programme.
