Sport is at the heart of student life at Stirling. We provide competitive, recreational and social sport for all students. Get involved and find your sport.
Get Active is our recreational sports programme for students and you don’t have to be a Sports centre member to take part. We want all students to get involved.
If you want to exercise, try a new sport or play sport in a social environment away from the pressure of competition, then this programme is for you. It’s a great way to keep fit, socialise and meet new people.
We have something for everyone. There’re over 14 different activities and sports available to try on a weekly basis.
The University of Stirling's Intramural Sport programme USIMS includes includes football, golf, rounders, basketball, table tennis, and the annual Dumyat Hill Race.
Intramural provides you with a chance to create your own teams and compete against other teams within the University.
Student club sport at Stirling is run by the Stirling Sports Union, with over 55 clubs currently covering everything from athletics to water polo.
Many of our clubs are hugely successful and are always looking for students to get involved so why not get in touch to have a go!
