You can fly from India via Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS), London Heathrow (LHR), and Dubai International Airports (DXB) to Glasgow International Airport (GLA) with KLM, British Airways and Emirates. Using these airlines you can also fly from India to Edinburgh Airport, and also via airports in Amsterdam, London and Dubai.
Glasgow International Airport is about 1 hour away, and Edinburgh Airport approximately 45 minutes from our University campus, travelling by car or taxi. By bus it's 60 minutes from Edinburgh Airport to Stirling, and 1 hour and 20-50 minutes to Glasgow Airport.
Direct Entry to 1st Year:
Year 12 Grade – cumulative score of 65% and above.
Advanced Entry to 2nd Year:
Year 12 Grade – cumulative score of 75% and above. Advanced entry is possible on a range of courses. Student applications will be considered on a case by case basis.
Please note that advanced entry options for students who have scored 35 in the International Baccalaureate or GCE A-Levels ABB in one sitting will also be considered on a case by case basis.
We welcome applications from applicants graduating with 50% from Tier 1 College/ University
If English isn't your first language, you'll need to demonstrate a minimum level of English language proficiency. We accept a variety of tests, details of the minimum grades we require can be found on our English Language Requirements page.
Please also check the specific grades required for your chosen course by checking our individual course pages.
Students who score 70% in English in year 12 won't be required to submit IELTS, if studied within the last 2 years.
Submission of IELTS and other recognised English language tests may be waived on a case by case basis, if the medium of instruction at undergraduate studies was in English within the last five years. We require an official letter from your University or College.

Our Postgraduate India Scholarship is awarded in the form of a £4,000 tuition fee waiver and is open to full time, on-campus, self-funding applicants who are either Indian nationals or are living in India at the point of application, and are classed as overseas students for tuition fee purposes.
