Stirling offers you the ideal place to explore Scotland's rich scenery, architecture and culture. Located in central Scotland, we have excellent public transport links and the cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh are both less than an hour away. Stirling is also only 30 minutes away from one of Scotland’s finest National Parks, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs.
Our 330-acre estate is home to one of the most scenic campuses in the UK. With our own loch and 18th-century castle, you can enjoy a picturesque environment on campus. We’re voted 1st in Scotland for a good campus environment (International Student Barometer 2016) and you'll join our caring, welcoming community. Also, our student accommodation is just a short walk or bus ride away from the lecture theatres, library and all the academic facilities you would expect.
We’ll give you practice in all four key language skills: listening and speaking (with integrated pronunciation), plus reading and writing (with integrated grammar).
Placement test: At the start of our course, students will take a placement test and are assigned to an appropriate level.
Materials: A leading textbook at the relevant level constitutes the syllabus for each class. Your course book and all materials are provided.
Tutors: All tutors are fully qualified and experienced TEFL professionals.
Certification: At the end of a course, and subject to adequate attendance, you'll receive a University of Stirling English Language Certificate indicating the language level you've attained.
Also included in your course are planned day visits to Edinburgh, Glasgow and St Andrews, and a fantastic 1-day trip to Loch Ness and the Scottish Highlands.
If you feel you need a personalised programme to suit your needs, we would be delighted to assist. Please get in touch and we’ll create an individual teaching programme to meet your requirements.
I chose the International English Language School because I wanted to improve my English. I’ve enjoyed the lessons, as they were interactive.
