For most of our courses we welcome applications from students with a minimum of a second-class honours degree (2:1-2:2) or equivalent. Applicants without these formal qualifications but with significant appropriate/relevant work/life experience are encouraged to apply.

If you have undertaken a Pre-Masters or Graduate Diploma in the UK we can consider your application on a case-by-case basis. Please email your transcript to charlotte.richardson@sitr.ac.uk.

English language requirements

If English isn't your first language, you'll need to demonstrate a minimum level of English language proficiency. We accept a variety of tests, details of the minimum grades we require can be found on our English Language Requirements page. We may accept the English from your Foundation, Diploma or Graduate Diploma programme.

Please also check the specific grades required for your chosen course by checking our individual course pages.

Submission of IELTS and other recognised English language tests may be waived on a case by case basis, if the medium of instruction at previous study was in English and within the last five years. We require an official letter from your university or college. This waiver does not apply for courses that require higher than an IELTS 6.0.
