Library building reopening plans

We are working to give you access to our library again, following guidance from the University and the Scottish Government.  Cleaning and installation of protection for staff and students is currently underway.

From W/C 20 July, we will introduce 'Click and Collect' - you will be able to make online requests for printed books and come and pick them up at the library. Find out more about this service.

Limited access to study space for postgraduate students is planned for W/C 3 August, subject to some final health and safety measures being put in place inside the library. Social distancing measures will be in place and you are advised to wear a face covering and follow guidance in the Library.

Our Archives Reading Room will also reopen on W/C 3 August. Find out how to book an appointment and plan your visit.

Our Library and IT staff continue to provide support remotely via UniDesk.  You can contact us on (Library) or (IT).  We plan to have the library open to all staff and students by the start of semester, watch this space for more details.

We can’t wait to see you all again!
