About me

B,.Sc. (Mathematics) Glasgow 1973, Ph.D. (Computing Science) Glasgow 1981. Lecturer Glasgow University 1980-83. Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Reader/Professor Stirling 1984-present. Head of Department 1999-2002 and 2008-2013. Now reduced to 20% of full-time (as of 1 Nov 2017), intent on spending more time on research, particularly on early auditory proessing and computational neuroscience. See the ORCID link for publications. Almost all of them are also available through my personal web page.
