Back to news

The University of Stirling Postgraduate Fair will take place on Wednesday 9 November at The Atrium, Andrew Miller Building from midday until 2pm. The event is open to students and members of the public.

Postgraduate study could be a consideration for students nearing the end of their first degree or for someone in the workplace who wants to enhance their skill set.

A competitive job market makes postgraduate study at Stirling an important career consideration. Prospective students can explore the wide variety of courses on offer and staff will be available to give information on careers, funding and accommodation. There will be a general talk on postgraduate studies at Stirling and visitors can tour the campus.

Stirling’s Director of Student Recruitment, Ian Cockbain, said: “The Postgraduate Fair is an excellent opportunity to showcase our graduate programmes to anyone interested in embarking upon research or taught programmes guided by world-class scholars and researchers.

“The benefits of a postgraduate education at University of Stirling are supported by the statistic that six months after graduation, 91 percent* of postgraduates gain jobs or move on to further study in a wide variety of interesting fields.”
