Following a full and thorough review of all relevant factors – including the latest government and public health guidance relating to COVID-19 – the University has taken the difficult decision to postpone its in-person graduation ceremonies scheduled to take place on its Stirling campus in 2021.
This means our June and November ceremonies will not take place in the usual way this year. Students will still graduate, as scheduled – receiving their award documentation electronically, in PDF format, and their award certificates via post. Achievements will also be marked with virtual celebratory events – further details will be shared with students in due course.
We recognise that graduation is a milestone for our students and their loved-ones, and our 2020 and 2021 graduates will be invited to an in-person celebration when public health and government guidance allows.
Further information will be shared in May for those due to graduate in June and in Autumn for those due to graduate in November.
