Alangrange

This large Victorian house has been converted into a 44-bedroom residence that stands on the edge of the University campus. It has three floors, a large social living room and four kitchens for students to share. There is also bicycle storage within the grounds.

 There are four different bedroom sizes available:

• Small (9.8 – 11.4m2)
• Medium (11.7 -13.06m2)
• Large (13.2 – 15.9m2)
• Extra large (21.1 – 27.4m2)

If you are applying for the Accommodation Enhancement fund, then only the small and medium rooms are eligible.

In Alangrange we are unable to offer the options of quiet, alcohol-free, or single-gender requests This is because of the open-plan layout of the rooms in the building.

Rent for this property for session 2026/27 is:

• £127.53 per week: Small standard room (49 week contract)
• £129.95 per week: Medium standard room (49 week contract)
• £133.40 per week: Large standard room (49 week contract)
• £141.55 per week: Extra large standard room (49 week contract)
