Halloween Movie Night

Halloween, or Hallowe'en (less commonly known as Allhalloween, All Hallows' Eve, or All Saints' Eve), is a celebration observed in many countries on 31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows' Day. It is at the beginning of the time in the Christian year dedicated to remembering the departed and, in popular culture, has become a celebration of horror and is associated with the macabre and the supernatural.

Popular activities during Halloween include guising (trick-or-treating), attending Halloween costume parties, carving pumpkins or turnips into 'jack-o'-lanterns' andlighting bonfires.

The Be Connected programme is offering a more relaxed evening at the movies. Join us for a free spooky movie and snacks, and connect with other students. Pizza will be served after the film.

This event is running as part of the University’s BeConnected Programme, designed to help you enjoy your time on campus, take a breather from studies/work, and meet new people. 

NOTE: Film will be announced 2 weeks prior to the event.  We have limited spaces for this event therefore if you are late your space will be allocated to another student if the event is full.
