Professor Alison Green
Dean for Teaching Quality Enhancement
Professor Alison Green is institutional Dean for Teaching Quality Enhancement. This role includes a monitoring and improving teaching and assessment standards and taking the academic lead in employability for the institution.
Alison also teaches law in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities with a special interest in banking and is the Associate Dean for Learning and Teaching for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
Alison is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. She is a qualified solicitor in Scotland and worked for over 15 years in corporate law practice before joining the University in 2004. During her time in practice Alison was part of the management team of a medium sized law firm in Scotland and was head of their corporate division.
Alongside her roles at University of Stirling, Alison has held committee appointments with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland and the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
