Social work practice in times of disaster free workshop at the University of Stirling
The University of Stirling’s Faculty of Social Sciences is hosting a free two-day workshop for social work practitioners on 19 and 20 September. Entitled ‘Social work practice in times of disaster’, the course will allow attendees to share experiences of disaster social work, discuss best practice, and identify training needs

Children and Young People's Mental Health and Wellbeing: Communities, families, resilience and resistance conference
This three day conference focuses broadly on children and young people’s wellbeing and mental health. It offers a space in which we can consider how we might understand to children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing, and how services might respond to these challenges.

International Masterclass on Dementia Care, Design and Ageing
The University of Stirling’s Dementia Services Development Centre and the Dementia and Ageing Research Group will host its second International Masterclass on Dementia Care, Design and Ageing (IMDDA). IMDDA brings together experts from across the globe to discuss ideas from design innovation through research to policy development.
