Accommodation for returning undergraduate students
Returning undergraduate students going into their second, third or fourth year of study can still apply for a range of University accommodation. Our shorter-term contract options offer flexibility if you’re going to be doing a semester abroad and don’t need accommodation for the full year.

Study abroad students
The following properties are available for returning undergraduate students who will be studying abroad in Spring 2027.
Applying for accommodation
Applications for returning undergraduate students requiring accommodation for September 2026 will open on Tuesday 17 March at 10:00.
A priority window for applications between Wednesday 11 March at 10:00 and Friday 13 March at 16:00 is available If you are:
- registered with Accessibility and Inclusion, with a medical condition that requires specific accommodation needs (e.g. wheelchair requirement, physical and mobility difficulties, sensory impairments, mental health conditions),
- care experienced,
- commenced your course in January 2026,
- progressing from ISC to undergraduate study,
- you have a home residence in SIMD20 and SIMD40 postcodes.
Want to apply as a group of friends?
To apply as a group each person must make an online application. On the “Tell Us a Bit More About Yourself” page of the online application, choose YES to the group question and then list the names and student ID numbers of everyone in your group in the comment box.
