Hannah Hale is currently a research fellow at the Centre for Child Wellbeing and Protection, University of Stirling. Hannah does research in child wellbeing, organisations, mental health and gender. The current project she is working on aims to consider an alternative model of low-threshold family support for parents with children aged 0 to 3 years of age – the Open Kindergarten. Other research Hannah is currently involved in, concerns the mental health of the Police workforce, domestic abuse, military masculinities and psychotherapeutic approaches online. Hannah practices also as a Pluralistic counsellor, specialising in trauma, anxieties in context (particularly workplace strains) and depression.
