Join the Art Collection and artist Jodie Fowler for a relaxed, hands-on drawing workshop, rooted in nature and inspired by the Art & Science Exhibition.

Guided by the work of Alison Watt, Stuart Howart, Rachel Duckhouse, Katie Patterson, and Christine Bollard, we’ll explore how to really see the world around us.

Over the session, you’ll move from observing overall shape and form to looking closely at line, texture, and pattern. Using skulls, microscopes, eyeglasses, and foraged plants, you’ll experiment with a variety of materials and create a curated pocket sketchbook of your discoveries.

This is a process-focused, enjoyable session designed to encourage slowing down, learning how to look, and engaging with nature in new ways. No experience is needed, and all materials are provided.
