Location: Macrobert Arts Centre

Situated in the Macrobert Arts Centre our backstage bar and bistro offers a wide range of hot and cold items for lunch and dinner. Relax with a barista coffee, hot grab and go options and a choice of sweet treats throughout the day.

Backstage has a full menu of delicious wraps, bowl food and traditional favourites available for live shows and events.

The Macrobert and Backstage will be closed for maintenance from 5 to 8 January 2025. Backstage will reopen on Friday 9 January at 16:30.

Conveniently located at the Cottrell entrance, Bite is a great place to grab a coffee, hot or cold breakfast or lunch on the go.

Location: Lochside, across from the Sports Centre

Boardwalk, our mobile coffee venue offers barista coffee and hot drinks, pastries, scones, sandwiches and soft drinks. Whether you are walking around the loch at the weekend, moving from building to building during the week or getting out at lunchtime, Boardwalk is ideally situated for grab-and-go drinks, snacks, and sandwiches.

Haldanes' Kitchen offers you a choice of street food including curry corner, chicken kitchen, toasties, and salad market. Haldane's is also where you can benefit from our Grub's Up meal deals.

Hawker is open Monday to Friday 11:30 to 14:30, and for selected events.

Location: Sports Centre

Nourish in Sport has an exciting new menu with breakfast served until 11:00, light bites until 15:00, hot sandwiches and bowl food in addition to the build your own salad bar, wrap, bagel or hot potato - there’s something to suit all appetites.

Whether it’s pre- or post-workout or just a relaxing lunch or coffee with friends. Nourish features freshly prepared daily specials as well as grab-and-go eats and a smoothie and shake station.

With homemade dishes served every day including chip shop Friday as well as all your favourite sides. 

If you are looking for something less filling, you can choose made-to-order sandwiches, wraps, and salads from our salad and deli bar daily.

At Pathfood, you can sit and enjoy your lunch with views of the Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle.

A place to meet with friends, enjoy a game of pool or table foosball, watch your favourite sport or chill out.

Scran offers a wide range of breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack options including freshly baked pizzas and a deli bar to build your own salads and wraps. Enjoy barista coffee and cold drinks as well as an extensive range of hot grab and go items.

The place to go for all things plant-based! With vegan breakfast, lunch and snack options available throughout the day, in addition to speciality coffees and drinks and a range of vegan sweet treats. For lunch, choose from the V-go vegan deli bar, a wide range of vegan hot and cold grab-and-go items, fresh homemade soup or loaded baked potatoes.

SUP will be closed from Friday 19 December 2025 to Monday 12 January 2026.

Location: Pathfoot Building

Located in the Pathfoot Building, the Pod is a great place to grab a barista beverage. You can also choose from a wide range of hot and cold food items, including hot specials such as pasta and curry pots, savoury pastries as well as wraps, sandwiches and fruit – everything you need for lunch.

Location: International Study Centre (formerly INTO Building)

Ramen, rice bowls, sides and poke bowls are all available from Umami, choose from five different Ramen including crispy chilli beef and Vietnamese pho or vegetable dumplings and miso broth. There are five rice bowl options too including crispy Katsu chicken, satay chicken skewers and crispy chilli beef plus a range of delicious sides. Try the poke bowl options of ponzu tofu, Teriyaki salmon, Yakatori chicken and crispy shredded beef.

Monday to Friday: 11.30 to 14:30

Umami will be closed from Friday 12 December 2025 to Monday 5 January 2026.

Visit Venue based in the Students' Union for wraps, loaded fries, burgers, tacos, and salads including plant-based options.

The We Love Coffee shop is the place to visit for delicious coffee, a Macha or Chai tea, a range of other hot and cold beverages, tasty sweet treats, and savoury items.
