Part of the BBC's 100 Voices project using the BBC's Oral History Collection this web entry focuses on the history of television sport based on recordings of oral history interview with former producers, editors and executives. The article, with embedded video and sound recordings, focuses on the key trinity of BBC sport programming in the 1950s and 1960s: Sport Special, Grandstand and Match of the Day.
