Dr Gemma Learmonth

I joined the team at the University of Stirling in June 2023. Prior to this, I held a Sir Henry Wellcome Research Fellowship in the School of Psychology & Neuroscience at The University of Glasgow (2018-23), where I also completed my PhD in 2016 with Prof Monika Harvey and Prof Gregor Thut.

My research interests include visuospatial attention, pseudoneglect, cognitive aging, laterality, stroke rehabilitation, non-invasive brain stimulation (tDCS/tACS/tRNS and GVS), static/mobile EEG and neurofeedback. I am a strong supporter of open research practices.

I am currently the Honorary Secretary of the British Neuropsychological Society until Spring 2024, a “Recommender” (action editor) for Peer Community in Registered Reports (PCI-RR) and an action editor of the Neuropsychology section of Cogent Psychology.
