Karen Jack

About

Karen is a Student Adviser (Assistive Technology), within Student Support Services (SSS).  She has worked in Higher Education for 16 years, in a variety of roles.  Karen’s role as Student Adviser involves supporting students to achieve their potential, primarily through the use of technology.  Karen is responsible for the AT training provision for all students registered with the Accessibility & Inclusion Service (A&I).  She manages A&I technology resources, including loan equipment.  She is also one of the co-ordinators for disabled student exams.  Karen is working towards mainstreaming AT across the University, including raising awareness and training.
