Sharron is a work-based Learning & Skills Manager working with the Student Support and Employability team.
Sharron supports the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in developing work-based learning in the curriculum to enable students to broaden their professional skills and gain experiences and insight into a range of industries to support you in becoming a work-ready graduate.
Her role also includes the development and management of a Professional Skills Academy, to support students in developing their professional work-related skills, offering opportunities to gain exposure to professional experiences while continuing to grow their knowledge, and confidence, and apply their learning.
Sharron has successfully worked in a range of different sectors including financial services, non-profit organisations, and higher education. With a a degree in Business & Management, a diploma in learning & development, Sharron is also a member of the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Service (AGCAS) and a qualified coach.
She is an avid learner with a growth mindset, who enjoys solving problems and is passionately curious about the world of work-based and work-related learning.
