About
Sharron is a Work-Based Learning & Skills Manager working within the Student Skills and Employability team. She supports the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences in developing work-based learning and work-related learning in the curriculum, while managing university wide initiatives that enable students to broaden their professional skills, gain valuable insights, and access experiences across a range of industries to become work-ready graduates.
Sharron has successfully worked across a diverse range of sectors, including, banking and finance, the corporate sector, non-profit organisations, and higher education. She has a degree in Business & Management, a diploma in Learning & Development, and is also a member of Graduate Futures (formerly the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services – AGCAS).
The focus remains firmly on designing practical, creative and collaborative ways to help students successfully transition from their studies into the professional world.
