Abstract
First paragraph: For this project, National Galleries of Scotland (NGS) worked with technology development firm Kotikan to create a mobile app, ‘ArtHunter', that would increase visitor engagement with artworks in the National Galleries and other participating galleries across Scotland. This project represents an important first foray for NGS into the usage of mobile technologies, and offers a useful contribution to our understandings of the design and implementation challenges related to such initiatives.
