In 2022, I was awarded my PhD from the University of Stirling for my thesis titled: " Validating the use of mobile EEG to investigate neural markers of real-world successful sporting performance in elite athletes. Concurrently, I held the position of EEG Scientist at Aston University in collaboration with Cognition Ltd. leading an innovative project aimed at developing of a neuromarketing toolkit software. In addition to this role, I also provided consultancy services to Cognition Agency, contributing to large-scale projects through tasks such as conducting literature reviews, facilitating data collection via focus groups using the Nominal Group Technique and interviews and surveys, performing data analysis, and drafting reports. Since completing my PhD, I have been employed at the Institute for Social Marketing and Health (ISMH) at the University of Stirling, where I coordinate a multi-country research project across Latin America examining the marketing of tobacco and nicotine products. Notably, I have authored the only published study to date on nicotine pouch packaging in Scotland.
My research interest lies in the packaging of nicotine pouches and other nicotine products, particularly in how packaging strategies are employed to promote these products. Additionally, I am interested in exploring how neuroscience—specifically electroencephalography (EEG) and eye-tracking—can be integrated to enhance research in this area.
