Bridging Juniors: Learning, Education and Development in Bridge

Funded by The Davenport Foundation.

The project, "Bridging Juniors: Learning, Education and Development in Bridge", sits within the broader umbrella of 'Bridge: A MindSport For All' (BAMSA) based at the University of Stirling. The main aim of Bridging Juniors is to increase the numbers of children and young people learning and playing bridge in schools, universities and bridge clubs throughout the UK. Bridging Juniors includes three stand-alone but inter-related projects: the extension of Bridging Schools (already funded by Davenport) and two new projects, Bridging Transitions and Bridging the Digital. The new fieldwork will take place over the next five years but the impact work will be extensive throughout the global bridge community, thus the project runs from August 2020 until Dec 2028.
