About me
Craig holds a First Class BSci with Honours in Software Engineering from the University of Stirling. Based in Computer Science and Mathematics, he is currently working towards his PhD on Scoping the Potential Use of Serious Games for Public Engagement with Tree and Plant Health. He is supervised by:

His doctoral work is a joint funded studentship between the: Department for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), University of Stirling Research and Enterprise Office, and the Computer Science and Mathematics department.
Craig's current research interest is in Serious Games, specifically how more engaging and enjoyable education, outreach and engagement experiences can be created and used.
His current work involves:
- Comparing the effectiveness of Games v. Non-Games for Education in a public setting for tree and plant health
- Understanding what a visitor to a botanic garden/museum/etc would want from an interactive exhibit
