About me
I am a Professional Doctorate student in Health Psychology at the University of Stirling, working towards HCPC registration and full membership with the Division of Health Psychology. Alongside my doctoral training, I am an experienced School Psychologist at Anatolia College in Greece, where I provide tailored emotional and behavioral support to students across the IB, High School, and Junior High School programs. I have also completed specialized clinical training in Systemic Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Hypnotherapy, allowing me to bring a multidimensional therapeutic approach to my work with young populations.
Prior to my current role, I worked within the Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, contributing to youth and adult wellbeing research in collaboration with the Universities of Manchester, Lancaster, and York. Dedicated to community-based youth support, I also facilitate peer-support groups for adolescents experiencing psychosis through Voice Collective UK, helping young people build resilience and emotional understanding.
Research Interests
My research primarily focuses on how systemic, parental, and psychological factors shape health outcomes in youth and chronic illness management. My core research interest centers on pediatric Type 1 Diabetes, specifically exploring how parental behaviors, coping mechanisms, and perspectives influence both family wellbeing and child health outcomes. More broadly, I am interested in how social and psychological frameworks can be leveraged to enhance emotional resilience and healthy development in educational and clinical settings.
