About me
Wonah is a Postgraduate Researcher in Politics at the University of Stirling, working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, human rights, and digital governance. His research examines how emerging AI systems—particularly biometric surveillance technologies—reshape civil and political rights, with a focus on privacy, accountability, and ethical regulation.
Wonah, through his work, is attempting to build a human rights-based approach to AI policymaking, combining qualitative methods such as netnography with critical policy analysis. He is particularly interested in how technologies such as facial recognition are deployed across digital platforms and how governance frameworks can respond to the risks they pose.
Wonah’s broader research interests include digital rights, data governance, and the role of public policy in shaping equitable technological futures.
