About me

I am currently undertaking a PhD aimed at improving walking patterns and obstacle negotiation in older people.

Previously, I completed my undergraduate degree in applied psychology from the University of Delhi (July 2016- June 2019). Following that, I pursued a conversion master's course in psychological science with a specialization in cognitive neuroscience at the University of Glasgow (Sept. 2019- Sept. 2020). Subsequently, I attained a master's degree in experimental psychology with data science from the University of Manchester (Sept. 2021-Sept. 2022). I also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Manchester from October 2022 to September 2023.

Research

My PhD research involves examining the brain mechanisms involved in preparing for and in responding to obstacles along with the influence of a secondary task. I am also exploring the potential of galvanic vestibular stimulation in enhancing mobility among older people to address the growing number of falls among this age group.
