About me
Gillian has a clinical background in emergency nursing. Prior to moving into academia, she completed an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice and worked as an advanced nurse practitioner in an emergency department.
Her clinical interests lie in acute presentations and advanced practice. Gillian also has an interest in staff wellbeing and recruitment and retention of staff in the NHS. Her MSc dissertation was related to burnout in emergency department staff.

Student recruitment
I am actively involved in recruiting students to our nursing program. I have been to student recruitment events at schools and UCAS exhibition events with focus on nursing but also more general student recruitment.
