Michaela Hruskova is an award-winning entrepreneurship researcher and educator with a keen interest in promoting student enterprise. In her research, Michaela seeks to pioneer the study of governance of entrepreneurial ecosystems and help inform ecosystem building activities both in Scotland and internationally. She has extensive teaching experience across both academic and employability subjects. Also, she has previously established a grassroots entrepreneurial community called Startup Grind in order to inspire, educate, and connect entrepreneurially-minded students and staff. As a result of her work on researching, teaching, and promoting entrepreneurship, Michaela was named as one of Inspiring Women in Scotland by the Young Women’s Movement. Michaela holds an MA (Hons) and MRes degrees in Management from the University of Glasgow, where she is currently completing her PhD.
