Miss Mette Tollervey

During completion of BSc (Honours) Marine biology at the University of Aberdeen, and MSc Evolutionary genetics at Edinburgh University, I have been able to explore genome structure and its evolution in the context of potential impacts on genotypic and phenotypic expression. My PhD topic, Genome, epigenome, and environmental interactions in RAS reared Atlantic salmon, studies these topics in relation to the environments influence on early salmon development, with reference to later life performance, animal welfare and sustainable production.
